Feeling Halloweeny

For the last three weeks or so, Ty has refused to take a nap, and I finally decided to stop fighting him on it.  I wasn't happy about it at first, but now I am pretty pleased about the result.  Ty is still required to do an hour of quiet time (books or puzzles) each afternoon, which gives me the time I need to regroup.  Since McKay is still taking his blessed 4 hour naps, it also gives me some really great one-on-one time with Ty that I didn't have when he was napping.  Also, because he's not napping, he is ready for bed by 7PM.  That gives Adam and I some individual time with just McKay (who goes to bed at 8) in the evening.  It's really the best of all worlds.
So today during our afternoon time together, Ty and I decided we wanted to make Halloween cookies.  Since the temperature almost every day in September was in the 80's and 90's, it hasn't really felt like fall at all yet.  Today it was cooler (low 70's) and we decided to get festive!

Much better looking than what I can do. I am doing good if the icing come out smooth over the whole cookie. I don't even try to outline or write anything. Great job!
