We have had one of the most crazy fun weekends EVER! We packed so much Halloween celebrating in this weekend that I don't think any of us will be too disappointed that we won't be trick-or-treating this year. On Friday night, we went to a local pumpkin patch. Saturday morning we hosted a party with some of our great friends in our ward here in Parker, and Saturday night we attended an adults-only party with friends from our ward in Centennial. It was a ton to pack into 24-ish hours, but we totally loved it!
Due to the sheer volume of photos, I will probably have to post each of these events separately. So, let's begin with Friday night at Flat Acres Farms.
There were rubber ducky races,
A hay bale maze,
All sorts of hay animals,
Face painting, which Ty was very nervous about initially,
but he loved the finished product!
A hay ride
The corn maze (which was dinky compared to Thanksgiving Point or Chatfield, but PERFECT for a 3-year-old!),
A petting zoo with calves, kids, lambs, and bunnies (Mac's favorite!),
And boxes of corn for the kids to swim/jump/play in!
There were also bounce houses to play on, a snake tunnel to go through, and a little haunted house and cemetery (which we opted out of since we thought it would freak out our kids).
And at the end of the night, the boys got to pick out their own pumpkins!
This was SUCH a fun family activity, and we have decided that as long as
we are in Parker and
this is in Parker, it will be an annual Marchant family tradition!
