We're home, and Grammie's gone

Well, we are home from the hospital and trying to adjust to our new life as a family of four!  My mom, who has been here staying with Ty, flew out this afternoon.  I miss her already!  She has SAVED MY LIFE this week!  Besides planning all sorts of fun activities for Ty to do while I was in the hospital, she cleaned the whole house top to bottom, and even took the baby in the night when I needed sleep.  I am nervous to do this without her!  Before she left, I got some pictures from her that she took while she was here.

Grammie brought Easter eggs and hid them for Ty to find.  Lots of them had dollars inside!

I'm rich!

Ty found his brother's aspirator and remembered how to use it!

Aaarg!!

We left the hospital yesterday afternoon.  There was a huge storm that had been going on since Thursday afternoon when McKay was born.  We got TONS of snow.  I thought I was going to have a Spring baby!  We had to bundle little Mac up really well to get him home in the cold!

So Little!

Getting bundled up to go home

All ready to go!

And finally, here is a video of McKay's first few minutes that I got downloaded today.

Congrats! I'm so happy for you and glad that everything went well. I'm sure it was so nice to have your mom there, but you'll do great by yourself too:)

Hello, my name is Kathryn and I just peeked into your live via your cute blog. (Found it "surfing" Blogspot "next" button) Thought I should let you peek into mine in return. :-) Congratulations on your new baby! I remember how life changed after having my second, and I definitely remember how it felt when my Mom drove away, my husband was at work and I was left by myself with this precious newborn...both times! I had a little more confidence the 2nd time around, but alot less energy! I'm not Mormon, but felt led to tell you that you are being prayed for today by this stranger. :-) ~Kathryn http://www.kathrynread.blogspot.com

Please call for ANYTHING you need. I'm glad you made it home safe and sound especially with all the snow...crazy! Congratulations again!

I told Adam congratulations via instant messaging, but figure I better also congratulated the mom who did most of the work bringing McKay in to the world. Nice job Meggin! Heather and I are very excited for you guys. I love that you shared video of the first few minutes. Very cool. Good luck keeping up with everything and getting some sleep on occasion!
