If there is one thing Adam and I have learned in our three years as homeowners, it is that when you do a home improvement project, it will always take longer and cost more than you originally planned. Such was the case with our latest project, our nursery re-do. But I am oh, so happy with the way it turned out!
As I mentioned before, Matt has been occupying this bedroom for the last five or so months. I didn't get any pictures of it while he was still living in there, but these are our "before" shots when we had just completed the prep work prior to painting.

The Full Finished Project! |
The only other thing that I would really like to do is re-finish the crib in white. I still might do that eventually, but for now I think I am going to leave it alone. The due date is tomorrow and I am tired! But in all, I am so, so happy with the way things look. We have never brought a baby home to a house before; both boys were born while we lived in an apartment. So this was the first time we really got to create a nursery, and it was so fun! We are ready for you, Baby Annie! Hurry up and get here now, would you?!

Stop it!!!! That's too ridiculously cute! (and I kinda love that it's green and pink-- so is Lex's room! They're destined to be BFF's!!!) Did you end up making or buying bedding? It's stinkin cute! I'm dying that it's a matter of days (or even hours?!?!?! eeeeek!) til Annie gets here and I'm stuck in Utah! I need to snuggle her!!!
WOW!! This turned out just super! I am very impressed. The pink and green looks great together. The little touches like the tie-backs and the decor and the throw pillow are great. And a while a white crib would look good, the wood still looks really great!
Abby was the first baby we brought home to a house, too, and yes, she got more of a nursery than either of the boys, as well! (Logan's room doubled as a storage room -- one side was filled with boxes -- and Josh never did and never has had a room to himself!)
Looks so good Meggin! I'm so excited for your baby girl to get here and start enjoying that room. I hope she comes soon soon soon!
Adorable!! You guys really did a great job. I've said it a few times before and may continue to say it...so wonderful and so crazy to have a little girl in your house! All those sweet outfits lined up in the closet are fantastic. How will she ever wear it all?! :)
