The kids are growing and doing well. Ty is (knock on wood) growing out of that terrible twos stage. He is oh-so-sweet lately, full of kisses and hugs and snuggles. His tantrums are few and far between and that makes me one happy momma!
McKay is now affectionately known as "The Destroyer" or "The Destroying Angel" in our home. He follows Ty around everywhere lately, which I love and Ty doesn't. After Ty meticulously lines up all his race cars or builds a massive train track, Mac zooms in and wreaks havoc. And it is totally deliberate. He knows EXACTLY what he is doing. He is kind of a stinker but I still think he's adorable. He has learned to walk, and can take as many as a dozen steps in a row (enough to cross a room), but his preferred method of travel is still the crawl. He is just not a huge fan of walking yet. But what he lacks in motor he makes up for in mouth! He is saying everything! He has a far larger vocabulary than Ty had at this age, which is good and bad. Who taught my baby how to say "No!"?
Our only other news is that Adam got braces last week. He will have them for 1-1 1/2 years, with a major jaw surgery in January. So far he hasn't loved revisiting his adolescence :), but he is looking forward to having everything fixed!
Life is good and we are happy!
