A Kaiser Christmas

We had to wait until a few days after Christmas to exchange gifts with Meggin's siblings, because Josh and Carly were gone on a cruise over Christmas. This was the gift of the day: a luchador mask from Mexico from Josh to Adam. It looked good--REALLY good.

Reunion

The day after Christmas, we were able to get together with some of Meggin's close friends from high school. It was fun to see the old group, and hear the latest on each of their lives.

Brittany and Brandon's baby, Kayla, was born just two weeks before Ty. Too bad we don't live closer to each other--we could have a lot of fun together!

Christmas Eve with the Marchants

We were able to spend Christmas Eve with Adam's family this year. The Marchant family has a tradition of doing a talent show on Christmas Eve. These are a few of our favorite photos of the talent show.

We jumped on the Polar Express and headed to the North Pole. Grandpa Marchant was our train conductor, and Santa Claus looked suspiciously like Uncle Spencer!

After Our train arrived safely back in Utah, we gathered in the front room to hear Russ's talent, the traditional, "I Like Bananas" song. The whole family really got into it this year! Who knew that Grandma Marchant had so many cool dance moves?

Our Christmas

Since we were in Utah for Christmas, we decided to have our own Christmas in Colorado with our family before we left. It was so fun to see Ty on his first Christmas. He was at the age where he cared much more about the paper the gifts were wrapped in than the gifts themselves!

This is "Christmas Eve", the night before we did our own Christmas.

Ty sure loves that paper!
