Yesterday, we got about 4 or 5 inches of snow here in Colorado. It was FREEZING, and the roads were about as bad as I've ever driven on. Adam had to work all day, and the plan was to get a Christmas tree when he was done in the evening. Because of the terrible weather, I was reluctant to go search for a tree, but Adam said he was going to have to work late all of next week, so it was basically a now or never situation. We bundled up Ty and went to work! When we got to the store, I just wanted to buy the first tree we saw so that we could get out of the cold, but Adam wanted to find the "perfect" tree. After a few minutes of searching, he found it. I have to admit, when I first saw his choice, I was a bit skeptical, but I agreed to it so we could go home! Well, Adam just has more vision than I do! The tree he chose really is perfect--it is the prettiest tree we have ever had!
We decorated it this afternoon. Ty was a little weirded out by it at first, but once we got the lights hung, he couldn't get enough!
This is Ty trying to grab the lights.
